Centrally located in South Joshua Tree this family friendly ranch house on one full acre is surrounded by shade trees and 1000 square feet of outdoor patio space. Enjoy unobstructed views from every window in the house. Three bedrooms with three king beds. Another king bed is in the living room. This can be split apart into two twin size beds. There is a sofa and two cots. French doors off of the master bedroom create the most amazing pillow top views and lead out to the expansive patio with magical views of the Desert View Conservation Area that rises to the east. This vacation destination is in a prime location. 6 minutes to five major grocery stores. 6 minutes to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. 2 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree. The kitchen and bathrooms feature the original tile and cabinets creating a retro vibe. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans sufficient for entertaining. Service for 12. Spices and cooking oils are provided. Did you forget something? More miscellaneous pantry basics are available upon request. This is a great home for gatherings where folks enjoy hanging out all day long. You will be drawn to the windows and the magical views at all hours of the day and night. The views just don’t stop! Hosts live on the premises in adjoining unit. Shared 80′ long patio, hot tub and back yard area. Picnic supplies, ice chests, etc available. Are you bringing the kids? Let us know their ages. We have board games, toys, a nice hot wheels collection and some recreational equipment. Plan to go hiking? We have ice chests, folding chairs, disposable picnic supplies, etcetera. We also have a full size crib and bicycles available upon request. 2 night minimum stay. December 23rd to January 3rd 4 night minimum stay. Major holiday weekends 3 night minimum stay.

Guests will have access to the full house. Shared patio and Jacuzzi. Washer dryer access upon request only.

I live in the adjoining unit. You may see me or my guests from time to time on the shared patio or yard.

I particularly enjoy this neighborhood because of the expansive views and the undeveloped adjoining acreage. Coyote Hole, rich with petroglyphs, is located just two short blocks to the east. This is an excellent place to begin a day hike into the adjoining day use area. Boulders of the Wonderland of Rocks can be seen from the backyard patio. 20 minutes of walking and hiking and you could be sitting on petroglyph covered boulders watching the sunset with a bottle of wine. Drive two minutes away to the Desert View Conservation Area and drive two miles west to the crest. You can see for a hundred miles to the east. Of course the West Joshua Tree National Park entrance is just 5 minutes up Quail Springs Road. The certified organic farmers market, open on Saturday mornings, is 2 minutes south. Major grocery stores are 8 minutes away. Be sure to check my guidebook for grocery stores and recommended restaurants.

A car is recommended for general travel however we have several bicycles that may be available upon request at no additional charge. The Morongo Basin Transit Authority has a bus line that allows for bicycles. The line runs from 29 Palms through Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley down to Palm Springs.

The host resides in an adjoining guesthouse on the property. I own the Spacious Brendle Park House next door. (3br, 2ba, pets allowed, 2 acres, sleeps 10) and the Palo Verde Retreat, also next door (2br, 2ba, sleeps 14, 1 acre). Whether you are in town for business or pleasure I am usually close by should you need anything. We have a flexible check in and check out policy. Just ask if you need special accommodations.
